Three Forks Education Foundation Thanks Community for Supporting 2nd Annual Bingo Night Fundraiser

THREE FORKS, Mont. — The Three Forks Education Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to the local businesses that donated items and services to support the Foundation’s 2nd Annual Bingo Night Fundraiser. Thanks to the generosity of these business partners, the event raised more than $10,000 to benefit students and educators in the Three Forks community.

The Foundation also wishes to thank everyone who attended and participated in the evening. The event’s success was made possible by the enthusiastic support of community members who purchased tickets, played bingo, purchased raffle tickets, bid on donated items, and helped create such a fun and successful evening.

Funds raised through Bingo Night will help support the Foundation’s mission of enriching education through investments of time, talent, funding, and resources. The Foundation provides student scholarships, educator grants, innovative educational opportunities, and charitable partnerships that strengthen educational support throughout the community.

The Foundation is especially grateful to the businesses whose donated items helped make the evening enjoyable and successful. Their contributions not only supported the fundraiser but also demonstrated their commitment to local students, teachers, and the future of the Three Forks community.

Community members are encouraged to look for the Three Forks Education Foundation supporter window decals displayed at participating businesses. When you see a decal, please consider shopping at and supporting that business as a way of thanking them for investing in local education.

2019

Approximately 50 students in grades K-12 participated in Missoula Children’s Theatre this year. This program allows these students to participate in something that would not be available to them otherwise. After the MCT experience, many of these students look forward to this event this year and we do see a continual participation. This is not only beneficial due to the further engagement and involvement of students, but more benefits exist such as confidence, taking risks, and challenging social norms. This is an amazing program that does so much for our students.

The students were very excited to have a new type of seat to choose from, so it was something for them to be excited about each day. These seats also were a wonderful addition for my students that need movement through the day. There are students that need to be able to bend back in their chairs to help keep them focused. These allow that movement in a safer manner.

I want to first thank you so much for the grant. I used the money to help pay for clinicians specializing in African dance and drumming to spend 3 days teaching students in grades 2, 3, and 4. African dance and drum techniques as well as information about African culture and the part that music and dance play in it. The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the 3rd and 4th graders presented the song and dance that they learned at the Elementary Spring Concert for the community’s enjoyment. Again, thank you for your kind donation. It greatly benefited the students by exposing them to another culture through music and dance.
